More about me
My full name is Héctor Manuel Martínez Vaquera. I am 22 years old and a Software Development Engineer from Universidad Tecmilenio in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Additionally, I identify as a Frontend Developer with experience in web application development. I am passionate about software development and technology, and I love learning new things every day.
My passion and interest in technology started at an early age—first with video games, then with devices, and finally with software. As soon as I got my hands on a smartphone, I knew that one day my goal would be to create applications that help people.
I often experience momentary creative impulses that motivate me to create things, such as drawing, writing essays, and composing poetry. With web development and programming, I found a new way to express my creativity—it becomes a sort of catharsis and satisfaction to see my work materialized.
Currently Working On:
I am currently working independently on the development of my personal application called Rime. It is a web development project aimed at helping people write and share poems while maintaining a free-to-use model and strong multilingual support. With this project, I want to create something of my own and prove that I am capable of maintaining a complete system.
This project is already in the pre-production phase, where I am developing missing features and refining the existing ones. It is available at rime-app.art. My goal is to launch an MVP of the application by mid-2025.
